If a query using the composite database is causing memory issues on the server, preventing it from completing and the same query can be completed when executed on a single database rather than a composite one, even with similar data.  

Error:

"The allocation of an extra 556.1 MiB would exceed the limit of 240.0 GiB. Currently using 239.6 GiB. The dbms.memory.transaction.total.max threshold has been reached."

 

Cause:

This issue is due to a bug in the 5.x LTS version.

Fix:

Upgrade to version 5.26.29 or above to resolve this problem.
