This article provides a guide to configuring PrivateLink on the Aura Enterprise Console. Please follow these steps to ensure a smooth setup.

Step 1: Log in to Aura Enterprise Console

1. Open your web browser and navigate to the Aura Virtual Dedicated Cloud (VDC) Console.
2. Log in using your credentials with the "console admin" role.

Step 2: Navigate to Project Settings.

1. Once logged in, expand the Project menu and select Settings.
2. Under Security & Networking select Private Endpoints
3. Select New Network Access Configuration to start a new configuration process.

Step 3: Configure Network Access

1. Choose your product from the available options.
2. Select the appropriate region for your deployment.
3. Enter the "Target Azure Subscription ID" where you want to enable PrivateLink.
4. Enable PrivateLink by toggling the respective option.

Step 4: Obtain PrivateLink Service Name

1. After enabling PrivateLink, you will receive a PrivateLink service name.
2. Copy this service name and save it for later use.

Step 5: Create PrivateLink Endpoint in Azure ( On your Azure Portal)

1. Log in to your Azure portal.
2. Navigate to your cloud VPC and create a new PrivateLink endpoint.
3. Use the PrivateLink service name obtained in the previous step for the configuration.

Step 6: Accept Endpoint in Aura Console

1. Return to the Aura Virtual Dedicated Cloud Console.
2. Check for the newly created PrivateLink endpoint.
3. Accept the endpoint to complete the connection process.

Step 7: Disable Public Traffic

1. Before disabling public traffic, test all your application connectivity with PrivateLink to ensure everything is functioning correctly.
2. Once verified, you can disable public traffic by toggling off the public access option.
3. Note: You can always disable public traffic later if needed.

Step 8: Monitor PrivateLink Status

1. You can monitor the status of your PrivateLink configuration on the Aura Virtual Dedicated Cloud Console.
2. Ensure that all services are running as expected and troubleshoot any issues if necessary.
