Article DetailsDetailsHelp DetailsGraphQL introspection enables querying the GraphQL server for information about the underlying schema. This includes data like types, fields, queries, mutations, and the field-level descriptions. Further information about its purpose is provided by this article as well as the Neo4j Labs documentation here, describing its scope within Neo4j. Introspection is usually a one-time-thing and should be considered a starting point for a GraphQL schema. The process of enabling/disabling introspection depends upon the package used, e.g. in case of Neo4j, we provide the tooling via the @neo4j/introspector npm package. As such, disabling or removing the npm package will disable introspection, e.g. as npm uninstall @neo4j/introspector. The introspection needs to be called by the developer code directly. As long as toGraphQLTypeDefs is not being called, the introspection should be disabled. Alternatively, the introspector package can be uninstalled as described earlier.InformationTitleDisabling Introspection in GraphQLArticle Created Date3/15/2024, 10:55 PMURL Name7585531222291-Disabling-Introspection-in-GraphQLLast Modified Date6/30/2024, 10:17 AM
