Article DetailsDetailsHelp DetailsUsing Apache Arrow , it is possible to project graphs by importing data stored outside of Neo4j. Apache Arrow is a language-agnostic specification for an in-memory, columnar data structure. It also includes Arrow Flight , that provides a protocol for the serialization and transport of generic data. Within GDS (Graph Data Science), there is an Arrow Flight Server that can receive graph data from an Arrow Flight Client. The data being sent is represented using the Arrow columnar format. Projecting graphs through Arrow Flight follows a defined client-server protocol. Apache arrow is installed by default with AuraDS. Any authenticated user can perform all available Arrow operations, i.e., graph projection and property streaming. Prerequisites: Check Installation: You can run CALL gds.debug.arrow()to check that Arrow is available. Check the status of GDS Flight server: To return details about the status of the GDS Flight server, GDS provides the gds.debug.arrow procedure. CALL gds.debug.arrow() YIELD running: Boolean, enabled: Boolean, listenAddress: String, batchSize: Integer, abortionTimeout: Integer See this practical example for loading data with Apache Arrow See further information in our documentation InformationTitleProjecting graphs using Apache ArrowArticle Created Date3/15/2024, 10:56 PMURL Name18004037178771-Projecting-graphs-using-Apache-ArrowLast Modified Date5/24/2024, 5:05 PM
