End your Neo4j (Aura) agreement, delete your account, and remove associated data

If you have setup a Neo4j (Aura) account and want to terminate it and delete associated data, do the following--in this order:

1. Clean up your resources (self-service)
   1. Export anything you want to keep before deleting--deletion is irreversible
   2. Delete any instance(s) such as databases in your Aura account
2. Send your termination notice (contractual)
   1. Provide notice of termination in accordance with your customer agreement with Neo4j. This may include doing so via email to legal@neo4j.com, with the subject line "Notice of Termination of Aura Account" and include in the body of the email the Project ID associated with your account (which can be found in the console under Settings).
3. Wait for confirmation
   1. Neo4j will acknowledge receipt and confirm next steps or required details. Keep that email for your records.
4. Data deletion & retention
   1. Deleted Aura resources are destroyed any remaining personal data will be handled in line with your agreement and Neo4j's Privacy Policy (including any required retention or backup schedules).
   2. If law or billing requirements require limited retention, data will be held only as permitted and then purged.
