AuraDB/DS always supports the latest drivers. With Aura you may be running Aura latest (based on the calendar version releases) and in general the latest version of drivers is recommended.

If you face an issue but are not on the latest version - please update and verify if the issue persist before reaching to customer support.

Note that Aura 4.x supports as well any 6.x drivers and we generally encourage you to update these as this will help migration Aura 4 -> Aura latest

Note if you use Spingboot then the Java driver is automatically pulled in for you as part of the dependencies. You can override the version of the driver for a better control of the Java driver version.
